To the Citizens of San Angelo:

On the day I was sworn in, I stood before friends, family, and fellow citizens—grateful, humbled, and ready to serve.

This moment isn’t just about me. It’s about all of us. It’s about San Angelo.

To those who supported me, challenged me, prayed for me, and voted for me—thank you. Your trust means everything. To my wife Karla, my family, and the many people who helped carry this campaign—you’ve given me strength and grace when I needed it most.

And above all, I thank God for placing me in this role at this time.

Serving on the City Council for eight years, including two as Mayor Pro Tem, has been one of the greatest honors of my life. But today marks a new chapter—not just for me, but for our city. We have the opportunity to build on progress, face our challenges head-on, and move San Angelo forward—together.

As I said that night, we are running a relay. I’m simply picking up the baton from those who came before me. And with your continued partnership, we will carry it forward—with wisdom, fairness, and a clear vision for the future.

Let’s lead with purpose. Let’s work with integrity. And let’s build a San Angelo that serves every family, every neighborhood, every generation.
