Infrastructure
"From potholes to pipelines, strong infrastructure is how we honor our taxpayers and plan for tomorrow." Ask Tom A Question
Infrastructure
Streets
Over the past eight years, the City Council has invested over $120 million in street improvements, building upon the foresight and planning of previous councils. Major projects — including Bell Street, College Hills, Martin Luther King, Chadbourne, and Glenna — were completed in direct response to residents’ calls for better infrastructure. This momentum must continue to meet the needs of a growing city.
Water
Protecting and expanding our water resources is a critical long-term objective. The competition for water across Texas is intensifying — and San Angelo is directly in its path. As a city with lakes, rivers, and non-adjacent sources like Lake Ivie and the Hickory Aquifer, we must vigorously defend our water rights and continue seeking new resources.
Projects such as the acquisition of the Hickory Aquifer supply from Ford Ranch, the South Concho River project, and the Fort Stockton Holdings initiative are top priorities to secure San Angelo’s future water supply. I also serve on the Concho River Watermaster Advisory Committee, where I listen carefully to the needs of downstream communities — and those concerns only strengthen my resolve.
I am committed to protecting, developing, and expanding San Angelo’s water resources to meet future demand and preserve our city’s resilience.
